Themis S.p.A., innovative Start-Up based in Legnano (MI) operating in sector of White & Green Biotechnologies for the development, planning and construction of systems and solutions with high techno logic, announces that it has successfully concluded the second one today investment round.
“Themis” aims to apply innovative technologies for the waste reduction and optimization of the use of energy resources that in the full spirit of the concept of circular economy.
The Company has a capable internal research and development laboratory to offer a complete and cutting-edge technical service, starting from the analysis of each individual organic matrix to finish with the processing of performance data relating to treatment with the WRT (Waste Recovery Technology).
The WRT solution allows you to efficiently treat different types of waste nature (sludge, canteen residues, etc …) allowing a strong return to terms of reuse.

In April 2019 Themis wins the LE2C (Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster) at the BioinItaly Investment Forum event, organized by Intesa San Paolo Innovation Center and Assobiotech, as “Best Start-up operating in the Circular Economy “.
In November 2019 Themis won the award as “Best Deal Maker “at the Slingshot event, part of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) and the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH), organized by Enterprise Singapore – Startup SG. The event gave the opportunity to ability to all participants to get in touch with the most important stakeholders in the innovation sector in Asian markets.

DEAL STRUCTURE
The transaction resulted in a total of Euro in the Company’s coffers € 2,000,000, thanks to the participation of leading institutional investors them and Italian and foreign industrialists.
The request for shares, functional to the subscription of the capital increase this amounting to approximately € 1,000,000, was greater than the quantity offered.
The remaining collection took place through the issue of a Loan Convertible bond of approximately € 880,000 with a duration of 5 years and with an annual coupon of 4%.

Themis has adopted a Corporate Governance in line with Best Market practice:
- Transformation into S.p.A. with share capital of € 1,000,000.
